Set the trap, I'm falling for it every time I can't believe, everyone knew from the start Jasey sighed as she made her way to the backstage area, the show was over and she was pretty sure she had gotten in amazing pictures, she was excited to check the roll and see how they really turned out. Her heart beat in an irregular pattern at the excitement of her newly taken photos, some say she was a little too focused on photography, too into her job to actually live a life, but she did, outside of work she wasn't a party-holic that was for sure, but she knew how to throw back a beer or two once in a while, but she wouldn't dare think about that now, not while she was 'at work' if you call tour grounds work. she sighed as she found an area to set her water bottle down and go through her pictures, she had gotten amazing shots, there was at least a dozen usable shots of the band and the fanatic crowd, she smiled widely as she deleted the few that weren't usable and favorited the ones that she was able to use. Jasey loved her job, it was something she loved to do, and something that came easily for her, photography was a way to express herself, her outlook on life and basically the band she worked for, it came as a natural to her, she didn't really classify it as a 'talent' although she was thankful for that 'talent'.
Jasey re-adjusted the strap around her neck and turned the camera off letting it hang from her neck with the lens cap around the front of the camera. The camera was a gift from the whole band and crew itself, she was thankful that she had them in her life. sometimes she wondered back to when she was smaller, yes she had the love that a girl should have but still, it was like something was missing and ever since she had been here on tour that had been filled with having these people in her life. she loved them dearly, every single one of them. She smiled as she stroked the back of the camera, it was a beautiful piece of equipment, the newest edition.. it was her baby and she cherished the quality and the features it had. Okay so maybe she was a little obsessive about her work, but wasn't that something that people killed to have? a passion to work, AND get money? hell she knew she was lucky to love her job so much, it was better than hating it.
Jasey sighed as she found a couch set randomly in the back of the backstage area, rubbing the top of her head knowing the migraine would come soon, that was the only negative thing about her job, you had to fight to get your pictures. in the crowd, pushing and pulling and shoving your way back to the fron to get the lead singer or all the way to the side to get the guitarist or bassist or drummer even. It was tough and more times that one she had come home (home being the equivalent for tour bus) with a killer headache not in the mood to do absolutely anything. But, it was just something she had to deal with, not such a big deal when you had been doing it for a few years.. she was used to it by now. hell, she even loved it on her bad days, it meant she get to elbow someone harder or shove someone even farther then she was supposed to. No, it wasn't nice but they couldn't blame her, they didn't know her. it was all what you were accustomed to with being on tours and whatnot. you got pushed alot. that was that.
Jasey grabbed her water bottle from on top of the backstage speaker and un twisted the bottle cap, letting the water cool her throat. Just for the fun of it she uncapped the lens protector from her camera and turned it on, hearing the cute little beepy music that came with turning the camera on, she smiled as she placed the camera in front of her eyes like she was about to take a picture and turning the camera from side to side to see if she might be able to take a good picture, it might have been random, but it could have been good as well, just another way to express herself even. she smiled as she snapped a shot of the speaker from the side not bothering to look at it on the LCD screen before she turned her head (and the camera attached to her head) to the side to find a male standing in her viewfinder, looking up.. with the camera that is she saw his face, it was levi.

TWO HOURS EARLIER Beads of sweat, pearling just below his hairline became a damp smear on Levi's arm as he wiped them off. He was still holding his microphone, peering out from the wings at the crowd that was still going wild despite all of the band members having walked off. Crew people were already starting to run around, getting the stage set for the next band. The techies were checking the amps and someone had already come out to check the drums. Levi pressed himself against the wall as two guys hauling an extra amplifier rushed past him. Backstage energy was the best kind. It was exhilarating, even after the thrill of a performance. Just to sit back and watch it happen was incredible; like clockwork: everything was so deliberate and effortless but if you stopped to think about how it really worked it seemed amazing that everything could come together so perfectly. Someone from one the Infinity on Halt crew appeared before him. It was a second before Levi realized that he was asking for the microphone.
"Oh, yea...sure." he mumbled, handing it over as he became aware that he was very much in the way. Levi took a last fleeting glance at the quivering collective mass that was the audience. He wanted to go out and watch the next show from the floor. That was the only bad thing about being backstage. The sound quality was barely halfway decent at the best of times: never anything compared to what the crowd could hear. Sometimes Levi missed that. He'd always loved watching live performances. It usually didn't even matter if he liked the music, though he admittedly did like most of the bands that he was on tour with. And he hadn't gotten many chances at all to actually watch the performances. If he could just sneak his way to the back of the room that would be ideal, but he knew if anyone recognized him he'd be eaten alive.
Levi decided it was worth a shot. He ran back to where his bag was and pulled on a hoodie even though he was still sweating bullets. At least if he pulled the hood up people would have to actually try to recognize him. Skirting the edge of the stairs so that it looked like he was just hanging around the door to the back stage, Levi snuck into the audience. It wasn't hard once he was in the thick of it. Nobody was paying him any mind. He looked up once toward the front to see that the guys from Infinity on Halt were starting to come out, and while the spotlights that had been surfing around the crowd swung towards the stage, Levi caught a glimpse of a familiar face. It hadn't occurred to him that Jasey would be in the audience. He sometimes forgot which bands the crew members were affiliated with. He only had time to wave at her briefly before the lights were gone, so he kept making his way to the back of the room. He missed the thick of the crowd a lot, but getting pushed around in there would definitely get his hood knocked off and it really didn't seem worth it. Besides which, with a hundred people on every side, he'd pretty much be trapped. So he hung back against the wall.
FIVE MINUTES AGO As the house lights came on Levi realized that he had to get backstage again...fast. People were already turning around and making their way toward the doors behind him and now that the lights were on, his hood did little to hide his identity. He kept his head down, judging where to step next by watching people's feet. It was harder than he would have expected; the crowd was so thick at times that keeping his eyes low was impossible because he had to look up to see where he might be able to weasel his way through a tight part. A few times he thought someone had recognized him. Their eyes followed him as he pushed his way toward the front of the room, but whether because they wanted to play it cool, or they weren't sure that it was him, no one stopped him. Finally he got to the front where the crowd had thinned and Levi managed to sneak his way backstage again. The atmosphere was much more mellow now that the shows were done for the night. Levi suspected that his band mates had left already. He was about to do the same thing. His little bunk back on the tour bus sounded uncharacteristically appealing at the moment. But on his way to pick up his things Levi spotted Jasey for the second time that night, and without even thinking, he walked over. "Cheese?" he said, raising an eyebrow with a bit of a smirk as she pointed her lens toward him. "Get anything good tonight? Well, I mean, aside from that one that is." He winked at her, slumping down on the couch beside her. It felt ridiculously good to be off his feet. Levi hadn't even noticed how tired they were until he was off of them.

Set the trap, I'm falling for it every time I can't believe, everyone knew from the start It had been a busy night for Jasey, she was taking pictures left and right about an hour ago, it felt nice to just sit down and relax and even take some time to look at the pictures. So of course she had seen levi wave at her, or at least she saw someone waving at her who looked a hell of a lot like levi, but she had been a little too occupied at the moment to wave back, not that she had to wave back anyhow, it wasn't like they were best friends through thick and thin. in fact, it was quite opposite, well at least on her part, she wasn't sure how he felt about her and to be quite honest she really didn't care. not that she wasn't nice to the boy, she was, it was just that sometimes Levi was a bit obnoxious and... male. after you got past that fact he was a perfectly fine person. The bad thing was though, Jasey was a female, a female who was rediculously attracted to good looking men, and she wouldn't dare tell this to his face but Levi was rather attractive. She almost wanted to bang her head against a hard surface for even thinking it.
Jasey slowly removed the camera from her face to watch him plop down beside her, Actually I did, and I didn't take a photo of you love. she said simple focusing on editing the color and the zoom of the camera instead of at him. Sometimes he could be so damn cocky and she couldn't stand it, Jasey had a thing for people who just thought they were the shit no matter what happened and no matter how stupid they felt at times they were always the center of attention, now Jasey didn't know levi enough to know how he truly felt about himself and if the cockiness was an act, they surely hadn't gotten themselves into one of those conversations but she did know one thing for sure, he was insensitive he was somewhat of a manwhore, and he was rather hypocritical, and Jasey hated those qualities in a person. so much she wouldn't associate with them, the reason she associated with him... well she didn't know. it probably had something to do with his looks, and the way he wasn't like those traits all the time, just ... some of the time, that wasn't so bad was it? it probably was... she was just denying them because she didn't want to be hypocritical herself.
There was nothing else left she could do with the camera, she had no choice but to click the cap back on the lens and place it gently in her lap from the strap hanging by her neck and focus all her attention on him. she glanced his way and took all of him in, it got easier everytime as she thought about his insenstivity and all of those bad characteristics she knew she couldn't stand. But that didn't mean she was going to be rude.. Jasey was a rather nice person, so of course she couldn't go around being angry and whatnot, she sent a forced smile his way, Was that you earlier? I noticed you came in from the stage exit she said tilting her head like she always did when asking a question. Jasey had little quirks about her that people always endeared, most of the time she was completely unconscious that she was doing it, but that was what made them quirks. Jasey cleared her throat as she thought about that for a moment, why would he go out to the fan area? he would have gotten mauled. she jerked her head in his direction once more with wide eyes, wait, you went out to the crowd? are you crazy? you could have gotten mauled out there. she said soon realizing that wasn't her problem and she shouldn't have cared, but still, he should have known better than that ! even a crazy person wouldn't take that risk.
You had to think of the worst that could happen when you're in a band and out by yourself, there were some seriously crazy people out there who could possibly kill you they worshipped you so much, it was disgustingly brutal but still very true, she had never gotten the whole 'crazed fan' thing, because if you truly loved them and their music why would you want to harm them? she guessed there weren't so many of those type of fans but she always imagined the worst for her band mates and even crew mates, they were pretty well known as well. and the worst that could have happened to levi? Well for one he goulc have been kidnapped, he could have been killed right then and there he could have been recognized and have about twenty thousand people bock him in right then and there and not let him back to the stage exit door until everyone of them had gotten an autograph, of course it was different with Jasey, she wasn't a singer for a band, she was just the photographer, so it was her job to be out in the crowd area pushing and fighting her way to get the best pictures possible, she was used to it, however he was not, and he was crazy for it. Jasey decided to put this one little mishap into the hate category. not only was he all of those things he was completely crazy as well. Hmm, she rather liked her hate category, it made it easier to just be able to sit here with him.
TAG ! LEVI NOTES ! hey so this one is better (: haha

Levi frowned slightly. Sitting next to Jasey was simultaneously satisfying and infuriating. He constantly had to push back the urge to say something smoothly sleazy that would have gotten any girl under the covers with him except her. With her, it would earn him a lonely walk back to the tour bus, which equated to an hour of wondering why he'd let his tongue and the lower brain get the better of him. It would have been entirely deserved, but that would only make it impossible for Levi to ignore the guilty knot pulling at his digesting food. So with a valiant effort, he just frowned at her for not having snapped a picture of his undeniably charming smile instead of letting some sarcastic remark mar the conversation that had yet to turn sour on him. "I'd ask you to let me see them, but I'm pretty sure you don't want me touching that camera...it looks...intense." He said, trying to mask his slight disappointment and move on. He settled back into the moth-eaten sofa cushions, pealing off his hoodie that was still damp from having put it on in conditions of extreme heat. Conveniently he'd managed to position himself right under an air vent, or at least where there happened to be a cool draft. He couldn't see any vents and the ceiling seemed to be too high for one to be blowing right on him.
"Oh yea that was me." Levi said, glad for a change in subject. His smirk had returned accordingly. "Awesome show right? But I guess I don't need to tell you that. You get to see them all the time." Levi's voice didn't mask his...well there wasn't actually a specific quality to it. It sounded like something between disappointment, irritation and jealousy, but only slightly because he was still smiling. He'd accepted a while ago that being famous would have a few down sides in addition to all the up sides. And they were never enough for Levi to question his desire for fame, but he still found himself envying people that could go wherever they wanted whenever they wanted without the threat of being endangered by the snowball effect of mob mentality. Thinking back on it, his manager would probably have a rage if they knew he'd gone out into the crowd. But Levi didn't plan on telling anyone else. Which meant that Jasey was the only person that knew...they had a secret. It was insignificant and entirely inconsequential, and she probably didn't even know it was their secret, but for some reason, this thought made Levi feel good.
In spite of himself, Levi grinned broadly. He hoped his exhaustion was not playing tricks with his ears but it sounded almost as though Jasey was showing a modicum of concern for his well being. This was rare. Like spotting a unicorn or the end of a rainbow. Not that she was every anything but polite and nice to him, but Levi knew at least vaguely how she felt about him, and it seemed out of the ordinary for her to be worrying about whether he was putting himself in mortal danger by lingering with the fans. He was flattered, and unwillingly giving in to the false hope that he might be growing on her. "Yea well, you only live once right? I was standing in the back anyway. No one recognized me." Now that he thought she might care a little, Levi felt compelled to give her nothing to worry about. But he couldn't suppress is nature entirely. "Well, actually a few people might have...but I'm alive right? I'm pretty sure their desire for me to think they were cool overpowered their desire to rip my clothes off. Honestly, I could have gone either way." It was only half sarcastic actually. Levi had been caught in a crowd before, and by some miraculous divine intervention had managed to get out alive because he'd ripped off his shirt and thrown it into the crowd. It worked as a very nice diversionary tactic. People went ape sh*t for these things. The only problem was that even if he distracted them, Levi was still too small to be completely effective in a crowd. He usually got tossed around with little to do but wait until he got close enough to the edge to bull-rush his way out.
He had always been hard to intimidate though. Levi, with the exception of his unbridled fear of zombies and things he couldn't see in the ocean, was rather fearless. He wasn't afraid of pain, and was too stubborn to let anything as trivial as a mob spoil his good time. His over-confidence usually teamed up with the stubborn fearlessness to make Levi think that he could get himself out of any situation without any help at all even though he knew full well that this notion was entirely untrue, and had been proven as such several times in his life. Levi found ways to excuse those failures though. The way he looked at it, he might have been stupid, putting himself in potentially mortal danger all the time, but at least he was having fun. He would have regretted it if he ever let something as textbook as manic fans hold him back.

Set the trap, I'm falling for it every time I can't believe, everyone knew from the start Lexis stared down at her camera, happy for having somehing in he rlap to look at and fiddle with if the time called for it, hanging around guys all the time and being their friends was hard at times.. and no she wasn't a slut or a whore, she just preferred guys over girls in the friend department because of the fact that they weren't as bitchy and they don't like drama, Jasey wasn't one for drama, she just wanted to live her life like she wanted to instead of having to watch her back because someone was pissed at her.. what a way to live. But that was beside the point, the point was that she hung out with guys and it had it's upsides, like the no drama part and then it had it's downsides, like the fact that most of them wanted to get in your pants or they frequently made perverse jokes, but she had grown accustomed to it, so it really wasn't a huge deal when she was spoken about by one of her friends. Jasey smiled at Levi, It is and 'intense' camera but I don't mind showing them to you. she said with a slight laugh.
Even though her mind told her not to she scooted closer to levi, so close the side of her body was touching him and flipped the switch so the camera came on, along with the music and finally to the pictures, scrolling through them at a good pace so he could see in detail every single one, she couldn't help the slight blush that appeared on her cheek, she may have been able to control her actions and attitude but that was something she couldn't control, but instead of bring notice to it she kept her face down like she was focusing on what she was doing, which she was. finally after she scrolled through them all she sighed, Well that's all there is from today. she said sighing as she scooted back to 'her corner' and cut the camera off letting it hang once again from her neck and into her lap.
Jasey nodded, watching the smirk grow on his face, she wanted to roll her eyes but stopped herself short, she had to be nice. she smiled though as she answered, yeah it was a great show. she shook her head and thought about her next sentence, well usually im not paying a whole lot of attention to the shows, i have to shove and push my way through the front just like any other fan, i get no special treatment, believe me. she said with a laugh as she shook her head, it was true, they just threw her out there with an expensive camera and told her to take decent pictures, at first she had been completely appauled. But then she got used to it, and now it was her job. It was that simple, they aren't going to change the rules for you so you might as well make the best of it while you can. Jasey nodded her head as he told her that he was in the back and no one recognized him, well i guess thats okay then, but still. she managed to get out before he began to speak again.
Jasey then realized the reason she didn't like Levi at times. She really did roll her eyes at him this time, Oh get over yourself. she said adverting her eyes to her camera so she wouldn't be tempted to be okay with his egotistical ways, it was something about attractive people, it was just a weakness, and yes levi was attractive, and she hated herself for her weakness, now more than ever. She knew that if she looked over at him she would be sure to smile and roll her eyes once more, making him believe that she actually liked that, no she wouldnt' allow herself one glance and make that mistake, it was so stupid that she had ot limit herself like that. she just wanted to.. to tell him off one good time so he would just stop being that way, he would be such a better person for it. Ugh. now she knew for sure that her anger could weigh out his pride but she still wasn't going to allow herself a glance, that would be like compromising, and on these matters Jasey didn't compromise.
TAG ! LEVI NOTES ! okay so this suckeddd.
