PERSONALITY • H I P P I E • i might be slaughtering this by overusing it. but she is a big hippie. she loves animals and the planet, and has this whole big thing about the corporate government and how much she really just wants to live on an island away from all this shit. she will go off like that, so beware. she is involved with protests and works at the marina in town. just like her parents, she is really into smoking and getting high; but never has she taken that too far. she is an earth-loving girl at heart. peace. • P A R T I E R • even though she's a vegetarian, she's a vegetarian with an eye for having fun. she loves being at huge parties with friends, but can't stand being alone at them. she often goes a little overboard when it comes to having fun, and has gotten drunk once now but kept her virginity to herself, thank god. she just loves having a good time, even if that means getting in trouble with kegs and having to spend the night on someone's lawn. • O U T G O I N G • even when she's having the worst day ever, bobby will find a way to make herself happy again. all it takes is human interaction. she wants friends, she needs friends, she has friends. she can sometimes had a little shy streak in her, but she likes making friends and meeting new people. she's not one to let her friend ask out her crush, she will do it herself. she likes to come across as confident, and she usually does. she loves to talk and socialize. • L O V I N G • in every sort of way, bobby is very loving at heart. she shows love for her friends, family, and every sort of animal out there. she often gets attached to the creatures at the marina, and will sometimes cry if she has to leave them or they have to go back into the ocean. she is also a firm believer in love. she saw her parent's love fail but the love she sees between her moms is like nothing else. she knows she'll find someone out there, and knows it won't be the first person she sees. but everything is cute and lovable to her, so she takes advantage of that. • B R A V E • it was brave to leave her father, even though she wasn't entirely sure of what it was he did. she was brave to undergo a lot of shame because of her mom's marriage to another woman, but she took it. she can handle a lot of things and let them all roll off her back, and she will stand up to anyone; even the frickin' president. she knows she has the right to speak her mind and doesn't give a fuck if she's thrown into jail for her opinion. if she believes in it that she knows she should stand behind it.
PARENTS BIOLOGICAL MOTHER, AMY SOPHIA CLEMENCE, 45, MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHER BIOLOGICAL FATHER, DANIEL ROBERT MOORE, 46, UPS TRUCK DRIVER STEP MOTHER, DANIELLE ANNE CLEMENCE, 41, MANAGER OF TARGET SIBLINGS BROTHER, KALEIDOSCOPE VEGAS MOORE, 15, STUDENT HOMETOWN Boulder, Colorado OTHER FIGURES hellogoodbye, powerspace, nickasaur!, never shout never, etc. HISTORY when amy was young, she felt just like any other girl. she had friends who liked her for her, and had crushes on all the hot football players in her high school. she wasn't any cheerleader though, she was a hippie and did all sorts of hippie things. she met a hippie sort of boy when she was a sophomore, and the two fell in love. yes. all this seems dandy now, right? the two got married after dating all through college, taking a house on the coast of the gulf in florida. the two spend their days on the beach or in the water. their new life was their honeymoon. when they had their first child, they wanted a good name like lollipop or candy, but stuck with a very traditional name; bobby. oh yeah, their first born was a girl. bobby practically was raised in the water and around all sorts of animals; with her hippie parents she became a hippie girl. it all seems like names' but they really were stuck in the sixties and seventies. the happy couple took their new child to communes and protests, often having to do jail time after being jumbled up in a fight of police men and rambuntious kids. the couple was young, and by the time bobby was one, amy's mother took her from her parents and kept her at her own home, way from the crazy young children. bobby's grandma was very good to her, treated her like the child she had when she was young. bobby remembers much from her grandmother's house; going on walks to the school's playground in town and going to beaches with her grandmother. amy and dan eventually came to their senses, and on bobby's second birthday, took her back home. they had retired their rambunctious hippie ways, and even saved their smoking for when bobby was asleep in her bed. bobby grew to love going on boat rides with her caring father, and learned that he was a very sensetive, loving man. he would never admit that to bobby though. he was supposed to be a role model for her child. apparently, while bobby was staying with her grandmother, she had made the young couple learn to handle themselves and make them get decent jobs and control themselves. they ended up having a second child, so apparently they had thought that over enough. even though they were done with their hippie days, they had to stick with their gut and name the baby boy kaleidoscope; kal for short. bobby giggled at the name, but loved kal with all her heart. they often fought, really because when bobby was young she thought she own the place until kal entered her life. she hated him at first, but that was only because she now had to share her tonka trucks. things were going great for bobby, and she loved her new elementary school when the family moved to boulder, colorado. she always came home with her mother's best friend danielle, who was practically her aunt (and she really thought she was until she was told otherwise). danielle was a great friend to the family, and bobby thought the world of her. bobby took an early interest in music and all the music her parents had playing on the radio in the car. of coarse her father meant the world to her, so whenever he started singing a song from the radio she would want to learn it too. she loved the beatles, and even though she thought that the band were actual beatles who played instruments, she didn't care. her parents liked them, and they sounded pretty when they played so it didn't matter. she liked the big animals that ticked her toes when she dangled her little legs over the end of her dock, and adored taking long rides in the sailboat with her mom or dad. it was all very simple for her, but she loved the water. she could swim very well and was one of the fastest girls swimmers in her swim lessons. she knew she didn't need them, but her parents signed the kids up anyway. precautionary, and to keep the nosy grandma out of her way. bobby, of coarse, loved her nanna. they visited her often, and bobby never tired of it. in middle school, bobby kept up her swimming activities. of coarse, everyone swam, but no one swam as fast as she. she could even beat the boys. she loved swimming the free, even if it was boring and in a pool going back and forth all day. she got strong and made a lot of friends through it. plus it kept her busy. things at home were turning wierd, and now that bobby was certain of her parents activities after she went to bed, she thought that sort of thing was okay. so when she was offered some crack, she hesitated, but then thought of her parents and took it up in an instant. she thought it was gross right away, especially as an eighth grader. it smelled great but it made her teeth really gritty and she hated the feeling. she knew that it was wrong and she could get in big trouble; but if her parents did it it couldn't be all that bad. she felt great doing it, and she knew sometimes she lost her memory for the night, then talked to the boy she had apparently made out with the night before. interesting feelings. interesting. those were the years that she was with her friends, when they would all come over and they would play on bobby's dad's drum set, with her guitar and sang paramore songs. they thought they were the shit. bobby was closest to sophie, since the others were all boys. but they all lived very close together, and woud see each other all the time. the beginning of high school was rough. her parents were fighting all the time, and she didn't want them to get a divorce. it was one afternoon she remembers like it was yesterday; where she came home from school and found her mother packing her things, yelling at her mother who was sitting on their bed in their room. he was upset, and then yelled at bobby as she came in to ask what had happened. he hit her across the face, screaming at her to get out and leave with that wretch of a hippie old man. danielle was there, and touched amy in ways that bobby should understand, but chose not to. that was the closest she felt to her younger brother, who she really didn't get to know until that long night they spend in his room. she didn't leave him, and he understood. she slept in his bed with him for the next few nights. her father had hit her. she was crying on her brother's shoulder, who sat there, taller than she, caring for his sister for the first time in a long time. bobby's mother told she and her brother calmly what had happened. it was very subtle but very brutal at the same time; she was a lesbian, and had been with danielle for a while now. dan came home to the two in bed, and left right away. amy and danielle would live in the same house now, because danielle had lost her apartment in the city and she was under a lot of stress (that's why they were in bed...). how easy do you think this was for bobby to take? with her little brother sitting right next to her i her dafty living room with danielle retreating to the bathroom? this whole time they pretended to be a happy couple when amy had just realized she was a lesbian. bobby's first reaction was to run all the way back to kissimee, where her father would probably go back to. she didn't care if she had been hit, she wanted to be with her father. but amy soon explained that he wanted her to leave anyway, because the kids had been pressuring him to be "bigger than he possibly could be"? what the fuck was that? bobby couldn't stand it. she just couldn't. she only talked to her brother and band for a month or so. that made them very close, and they still are that way. this was when she started to get big with her band; turns out crazed myspace kids loved outspoken electronica rock bands. her parents got a divorce, and amy got custody of the children. amy and danielle got married, and bobby learned to accept it. she started talking and really started to feel loved by them, especially her new mom. but her parents let her go, and since kal was old enough now (and since he begged and begged and begged), he was aloud to join the band with their technology; and become one of three techies that joined them on the road. this kept the siblings very very close on the road, even though they have their own friends they come together very often. they're on the road all the time and love it. amy and danielle have promised bobby a new sail boat when she gets home.

SCHOOL IS A BITCH. there was first the learning aspect of it all that just seemed to rub a lot of people the wrong way, and that part where you have to get up super early just to look your best and make it to class on time. oh, but don't forget the worst part; that being all the effing drama that went around in this boston public school system. it didn't matter who you were, you were usually hated by someone, or someone knew something about you that shouldn't be known. amelia wasn't used to all this in the least bit. she had grown up in a small town, a town with just a little bit more than 1,000 people living in it. sure, there was drama; but everyone knew everybody else, and there wasn't usually a fight that went unnoticed and unresolved. it was just the way everyone functioned. but here, here everything was strange and sneaky. there were a lot more drugs, a lot more sex, and a lot more drama. it was hard for amelia to make such a transition, and she often asked her cousin how she could possibly live through it. of coarse, katie had lived in numerous big cities; in florida, here, and all over the place. she always felt a little out of place when she came and visited her in chicago or florida, but never got tired of the amazing city views she had. she knew she was always meant for the small towns, but she couldn't help but feeling a sort of excitement when being in the cities. like now, she felt like she was on a vacation; but with school. amelia never thought she'd call the city her home, and she still was having a hard time with it. it didn't matter now though, because she was late for school. this would be a first for amelia, especially since she overslept. apparently, the night before, there had been a power-outage, and her alarm clock buzzed out of time. she woke up thirty minutes later to her mother getting up for work. AMELIA SCAMPERED INTO THE BATHROOM, fully aware that she wouldn't be able to take a shower that morning like she usually did. her hair would be a bit greasy, but missing a shower every once in a while would never be bad for your hair. she pulled it up on the back of her head, checking the clock again. she had about fifteen minutes to get ready and get to school. crap. she would be tardy. she threw on a a black tank-top and black leggings, a small cotton skirt, purple flats, a black scarf and a big printed sweater her grandmother had given her last summer on his visit to ireland. she loved wearing it over things; it made her feel like she was back home. grabbing her messenger bag from the stool in the kitchen, she remembered that she hadn't finished her science paper, and it was still saved on her computer. she skidded to a halt, swearing and trying to decide whether she cared enough to print it off or not. but, deciding that she wanted to graduate, she darted to her laptop, smashing the print key, and hopping up and down until it was fully printed. she then went directly to her car parked out from, yelled a goodbye to her mother, and drove out as fast as she could. the whole way there, which wasn't too far, she edited her paper, using the steering wheel as a make-shirt desk, scribbling out misspelled words and letters that were uncapitalized. she pulled into her high school parking lot, knowing she wouldn't get a decent spot because of it's size and how late she was. she pulled into an empty spot farthest away from the school and heard the bell ring. she swore again, deciding she didn't care and began to jog to the big brick building. she, obviously, was tardy. but it was worth it, because her first hour was science and she had finished the paper. thank god. that's all that mattered now, in all honesty. SHE WASN'T EXACTLY EXCITED FOR LUNCH later that day. she had forgotten to make one at home; like she had the time anyway. she pulled her scarf from her neck as she left her final class before lunch. the lunch room was very crowded and always filled with the loudest of kids. the lunches were never all that bad, but today was the one day she really needed to bring her own. tuna sandwich... and she would not eat that, no matter what. she liked going to a la carte, or maybe the sub line rather than main lunch. the choices were much more broad here in boston, and that was one good point of moving to the city. she never had to worry about running out of options. thank goodness the sub line was open today. she stuffed her scarf into her backpack as she got in line, clearing her throat before deciding what she was going to get. it was like a mini Subway here, and it was always fun to get a whole bunch of random things between two peices of bread. today, she thought that the spicy italian looked good, and got that for herself. she got cheese, pickles, lettuce and tomatoes. stopping by a la carte, she grabbed a coffee, which she needed because she hadn't that morning... of coarse. it woke her up pretty well. as she searched for a spot, she hoped she wouldn't see callum today. it was an odd thing to think about, but he had this lunch, and decided to just escape outside to eat rather than running into his perverted ass. callum was a strange, predictable boy. but very unpredictable at the same time. he had been a bully to her at first, calling her names and making fun of her doodles. i wouldn't say it bothered her, it just made her very aware and made her understand. what she didn't understand was that he was a junior, and she a senior. shouldn't she have the upper hand? apparently not. she also considered that maybe because she was new... but that seemed so dumb; no one would ever be treated like that in her little wisconsin town. getting away from the bustling lunch room, she went off to the courtyard, sitting on one of the rustic stone benches. the courtyard was very pretty, and always covered in strange green plants. it was empty at the moment, and she thanked the lord for that. she sat silently on the bench, putting her tray on her lap and taking a slow bite of her sandwich. yeah, she wished she would have brought a home lunch.
