L E A N I N G N O W I N T O T H E B R E E Z E ( REMEMBERING SUNDAY )The show was huge, and finally it was over. so many people just singing with the songs and screaming to the members of the band. the bliss of the after show was so much fun. she even got to go out and sing her duet with her brother, who was also in the band. the duet was a treat only because it hasn't been on an album yet. its still in the making and recording process comming out in their new album, also their third record. she loved singing and playing with her brother, even though sometimes they don't get along so well, but they always work it out in the end. dispite all the arguements, they still love eachother. and now that the show's over she prodded her band mates and went to walk around and meet the fans.
one of her most favorite parts of being in a band is meeting the fans and hanging out with them. it wasn't exactly late yet an the sun was still out so she slipped her white sunglasses on and walked out of the back stage and towards the merch stands. trying not to get noticed and snuk to the merch stands. she said 'hey' and 'whats up?' to lots of fans, as well as chatting with many of them. "Hey" she heard from behind her. and she spun around to see the one merch guy. he was always a sweet, she got along with him rather well, they would hang out and traid favorite bands and being here, most of the time they were able to meet those favorite bands. "Hey, whats up?" she said to him as she was asked to sign a CD from a fan. they took apicture and went off. sure, pure bliss.
she smiled with the fan and then started to talk with the merch for a while. after they were done with their small conversation carson has started to promote her band and sign autographs. and eventually when things just died down she hung out waiting for someone to join her. weather it be one of her bandmates or someone from another band, she wasn't picky with who she hung out with. she started to play with a guitar that was at the merch stand, starting to play one of their songs acoustic, and unstead of singing and making a scene she just hummed. from their first album, which came out in 2007, wow now that she's looking back at it, that seemed like forever ago. thankfully she remembered the notes and everything to the song, and really the last time they played it was like two tours ago, but it was one of her favorite songs, she believed the title was 'the beginning' and it being their first album, it was just fitting.
she finished playing and just spoke with more fans, there really wasn't much else to do. she talked about many things with fans, like what its like to be on tour with a bunch of guys and how its like to be in the same bus as her brother, all that. she answered honestly as possible as they all started to fade more and more band members started to crowd around the merch tables and around the busses near by. Carson smiled to herself thinking that she was practically really living the american dream.

slow it down, make it stopbefore my heart is going to pop• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • as annabel walked down the hallways, she licked her frozen yogurt, basically the only 'sugar' she could have without her medication. it was already starting to melt, and she had just about no rainbow sprinkles left, boy was it turning out to be more frustrating than she would have thought. it was melting down the side by the time she made it to the flight of stairs and she licked the droplets which were leaning towards falling off the cone any moment now. she began running down the flight, only taking breaks to bite at the cone which was all that was left, and on the last five steps to the bottom, she slipped. barely noticing until the last second, she some how ended up without any scars, and kept walking. her surroundings were not particularly exciting at the moment, no in fact they were dull, so she opened the side door and stepped out onto the pavement.
the wind swept at her hair, but she did not really mind, it felt good after being in the overly hot building where the concerts took place on tour, at least for now anyways. well, when she thought about it, the real reason she was out there was because she was chosen to go promote the band for a change, 'be a help' as one of the workers had said. it was a challenge in annabel's mind and she had taken it, hence why she had actually bothered to carry her guitar down the stairs, in it's case. so, when she made it to the merchandising tents, there had already been a big vrowd buying and trading all the bands momento's, it was actually kind of amusing. so, it was easy for her to set up unnoticed and plug in her amp. she strummed a few cords to get people's attention, before speaking a bit.
"hey, i'm annabel, or some of you may know me as bellz or noir, depending on when you see me, i like to keep things interesting, even my name" she smiled and continued. "and, if you haven't already heard, i'm from a band called disasterous ending. basically i figured i would come out and give you a little sneak peek of what's in store for later on in the tour, songs you may not of heard on stage tonight. but, then again the nights still young, so if you ahven't yet you will now, hope you all enjoy! she smiled and strummed the guitar before turning the amp up a bit and played 'compullsion' one of their newer songs on their latest album. when it was over she basically just fiddled around with some different techniques and chords, making some pretty good sounds out of nonsense.
finally, after about another 12 mintues of the nonsense, she came to a stop and turned of the amp. then, she yelled over the crowd one last time, "ok, so you've heard some of our music, and if you like the lead guitarist playing it, i hope you support the whole band playing it to." she yelled her thanks, and signed some autographs before letting the crowd disperse. which is also when she noticed carson, one of the other girls on tour, standing at a table near by. so, she walked over and figured she might as well converse while she had the chance. "hey carson, good job tonight, you guys really rocked, the crowd loved you. wasn't it exhilerating, it's been the best crowd this week, means it can only get better right?" she smiled and remembered a few other concerts and waited for the singer to notice.

L E A N I N G N O W I N T O T H E B R E E Z E ( REMEMBERING SUNDAY )she heard her name called and looked up to see none other then bellz chessire. She was the lead guitarist of disastrous ending, very good guitarist as well. sometimes meeting all these new people that are amazing at guitar seems to damage carson’s ego, she used to think that she was great at guitar and now its like, there are all these people better then she. She’s used to being the best and its just different. she looked up at bellz and smiled. Bellz was another girl on the tour, there were really only a select few that were in bands this year, well of course more then carson’s used to. Usually she’s the only girl. Her smile was widened when bellz brought up the concert crowd. That feeling of pure ‘high’ bliss came back to her mind. ”awe, thanks, you were awesome too, I love your guitar work as well,” she commented to bellz ”seriously, every time I listen to you play, I’m jealous,” she finished giggling slightly, feeling weird to admit something like that, she nodded and laughed at her silly little jealousy running through her mind.
the crowds only getting bigger both excited and frightened Carson at the same time. big crowds means a growth of fan base and also if they mess up the more people will notice. So really in the end, its both good and bad. but really, just the idea of a bigger crowd at the concerts just gave Carson small flash backs to their first huge crowd, and how she practically forgot the lyrics at the beginning of the song. And at times that just comes back to haunt her, whenever she trips on stage or something, and even that little mess up of lyrics was all over youtube by the next day. Little mistakes people seem to make so big. But most of the time Carson tried to push them out of the way. ”yea, its like riveting, I can’t believe we got that much of a turn out, and I hear the next two shows are sold out. isn’t it both scary and exciting at the same time?” she said with a tiny bit of a fake laugh of anxiety for the next two shows. The thing is, she didn’t understand this new feeling in her mind. she’s never been so nervous at a sold out show. There’ve been many in string of your fate’s time, after all anyway. Maybe it was just the thought of messing up again? or maybe it was just the idea of a sold out show. Well right now was not the time to worry about that. Their band had enough practice and she had enough experience to get passed the fear and worry.
She looked up at bellz, it was always great to speak to another girl, though she never didn’t like to speak to her ‘man friends’. ”Gosh, it feels like forever since we last spoke too!” she exclaimed surprised trying to remember the last time they spoke. And actually that last time was about a week ago and they were talking about some make up artist. If Carson remembered correctly it was that hair and make up for lets get dirty. ”Wow seriously, its been like a whole week, and oh, I talked to that lets get dirty make up dude on aim. He seems really caught up in himself and stuff,” she shrugged telling bellz, who happened to actually be a good friend of hers, the story of the aim conversation that she shared with mister richie. Now it seemed weird to look back on it. and for some odd bazaar reason Carson actually thought that he was different from some of the mean things she’s heard about him, but she actually proved herself wrong by talking to him on aim.

slow it down, make it stopbefore my heart is going to pop• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • annabel tugged on her guitar strap, and tapped her fingers on the table, listening to what she said. She thought more about the ngihts events, and played back carson's songs she had sung. yeah, they had been really good, much better than annabel could ever sing now, bell knew it herself. even when she was younger and sung, she really wasn't as good then either, hell, she was only what, thirteen or fourteen at the time. No, carson was much better and anna wasn't afraid to say so, it was just a way of life, plus carson was able to admit her thoughts on the guitar.
"yeah, thanks, that really means alot. to tell you the truth, i'm pretty jealous of your mad singing skills, i mean ecspecially when you and your brother sang together, it was perfection." she laughed scrunching her nose, and odd habit she seemed to always do when she laughed or got confused, it just seemed to happen alot. bells yawned and hummed a song under her breath, at the moment, she really was not one for conversation starters, so she looked up at the sky, tracking ursa minor and then ursa major, the big and little dipper as most called them. it was another odd interest annabel seemed to have, remembering all the constellations, even though she never really read any books on them, it was one of the few things her father taught her himself. she had no idea why she would even remember it she despised that man and everything he stood for, but the stars just seemed so innocent, floating away in space, no cares or worries.
"yeah, i can't believe it's sold out, i mean this is only the start of the tour, usually it takes a while for it to catch on, but everyone seems to like it and support all the bands. i wouldn't say it's scary though, it's riveting and keeps you on the edge of your seats, it may seem scary, but, i don't believe that going on stage to do what you love is scary. shouldn't it only be entertaining, exciting, and exhilerating, you know the three e's to show business which i just felt like making up." truth be told, annabel wasn't all that scared with normal things, or what was normal for her, most of that was focused towards memories she would rather forget, and that was what scared her the most, remembering what she tried to loose. Most people just thought she was fearless or something, or to calm to be uptight, but they didn't know, even if she wanted to tell people it was hard, hard to make them understand. she knew she was odd, everyone did, they knew she had secerets and knew enough not to ask unless told.
e[.color]ven when it hadn't really brought up memories, annabel was glad that carson had swtched topics. it really had been a long time since the two girls spoke last. well, long for someone on tour, which really only means about five days, but for annabel it felt like ages. it was nice to once and a while speak with someone of your own gender, and here were only a few including carson; and melissa who annabel saw alot because she was in the same band. "i know it really has been ages," she laughed at the irony before continuing. "you really talked to him, i am amazed, i mean when i talked to him once back stage, he was in such a pissy mood, it was quitew funny. but you really aim'd him, that must have been a sight, i mean after we found it after some searching i assumed it was just for kicks. what did he say? was he pissed at you for finding his aim, or did he think you were some type of a fan bowing down to his glory?" she let ou loud sneeze, and then laughed for she thought it was funny having it happen mid conversation. she gave carson props for actually talking to the guy, annabel really did not want to talk to that guy more than she wanted to, and it was a great story on carson's behalf.

L E A N I N G N O W I N T O T H E B R E E Z E ( REMEMBERING SUNDAY )she smiled and acknowledged the complement on her singing voice. So far she really has been getting many complements on it. Its both flattering and annoying at the same time, but so far Carson has really learned to put up with it. that’s the thing that she really loves about being in a band, she gets recognized rather then her old school people would look at her and label her as the ‘wanna-be’ and to be honest, she was everything but that. She had her own style that the ‘popular’ girls would steal. Styles like her vests her supra shoes, sunglasses all the time, and even the hoodies and hair sometimes. It got annoying, and no one realized that she was the one that started such a trend. And now, everyone knows, and now when she goes back home and those same people from high school are still there taking college courses in the community college, they all want to be her friend now. She has yet to attend to her tenth-year high school reunion because that’s not exactly for a while, but boy, is she waiting for that to come.
Bellz added her last comment to the sold-out shows and Carson seriously needed to get her mind off of messing up. she took a deep breath and switched the conversation to that weird man person that she had spoken to on aim and that she and bellz had been talking about no more then five days ago. ”yea, he was like all ‘you’re a dumb whore’ and ‘I can take a very educated guess on how you act’. And honestly, he’s an ass hole. I can’t believe I actually thought he was different. and really, I think that Janice Dickinson and he would get along quite fine. They are both rather fake after all,” she admitted with a laugh at the end as she recalled her visitation with Janice Dickinson. She wasn’t a bad person or anything, but Carson just couldn’t stand her. Janice is a total fake, and everything about her is. Because just looking at her people can tell she gets botox, and its obvious too. she was a pretty girl when she was younger too, but she practically ruined herself with drugs and shit.
That day really only seemed like yesterday that she walked into Janice’s office to get a little help with wardrobe for a photo shoot. And really, once she walked in she was surprised to see none other then Janice Dickinson of Janice Dickinson’s modeling agency there sitting, waiting for someone to criticize. And with Carson carter’s luck, she was the one that Janice would be criticizing. She eventually got out of her tiny daze of memoirs and just looked at bellz a moment waiting for what she’d say next.
The merch were starting to pack a few things up as people started to seriously thin out. now it was a crowd of a little over two hundred rather then the crowd of a lot over 1000 just less then an hour ago. She recapped most of the conversation that she had with that make up artist man on aim. Leaving out the sick details. And she ended with, ”but yea, whatever, he can be that way,” she said shaking her head and just shrugging, she felt like she was venting to her in a weird way. but hey, isn’t that what other girls are for? Well, yea, for the most part. But for some reason Carson always felt comfortable venting to bellz. They’ve been friends for a while and really do get along for the most part.
She wanted to start a different conversation then about richie dude. Carson in all was a pretty talkative person in all and usually is the one to start a conversation, aim chat, or anything. She’s quick at making friends and can practically talk for hours on end if she had the choice (and the phone minutes) to do so. ”So what’s new with you? Like really, its been five whole days since we’ve spoken and it seriously feels like forever since I’ve talked to someone that’s a girl,” she giggled feeling like she babbled on with that sentence a little too much. but of course, Carson was never one for a straight ‘hey what’s up’ or ‘how are ya?’ she always had to go into an explanation or saying. It was just the way she was and honestly, she knew it got on people’s nerves but that was a great main reason why she liked it. because she knew how to use it to her advantage at times.

slow it down, make it stopbefore my heart is going to pop• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • annabel really wasn't one who knew what to say to start a conversation, so she let carson keep talking, and she nodded in unison. Although, every once in a while, her hands got antsy with the tingle feeling you get when you don't move your muscles for a long time, so she started to tap her guitar case, almost in morse code. But, she liked the rythm and remembered to think of cords to go with it. 'A minor, G, a harmonic, another A minor' she thought. Annabel knew it was odd to think about music when tapping her hands, but no matter where she was, she seemed to hear music in different ways, that's what inspired her for rythm's in the band, even the songs she wrote were made sometimes by experiences she had or heard, not that she shared them with the band. She yawned a bit and wonder if any good bars would be open soon, she needed some good wine and maybe a bottle of taquila.
"Yeah, he is a total ass-hole, he acts worse than some of those fan-girls act to each other over the guys of the bands. He's a little bitch and everyone knows it." she smiled and laughed at Carson. "Anyways, fake's aren't worth a person's time right? If he thinks your a fake, he is just way to blind by his ego to notice how fake he is. I mean educated guess, did you tell him who you were, I bet he would have been nicer to you if you had, then again he is an idiot so maybe he wouldn't have." She rolled her eyes making fun of the foolish man.
Annabel nodded as Carson went on to talk about how they haven't seen each other in a week and Annabel nodded. Then, she picked one of her bands t-shirts and put it up to herself, she had helped chosing the design and she liked it alot, it was one of those occasions where she became very proud of herself. When she put it down, she coughed, and kept coughing for a while, so she put her hand in the back of her guitar case. Trying to find a bottle of water. When she did, she gulped down half a bottle before apologizing. "Sorry, I had a tickle and then I couldn't stop coughing." She laughed before continuing. "Yeah, we haven't seen each other in a week."
"My week, oh, all I have been doing is practice lately, even when the rest of the band isn't, the guitar seems to be my friend lately, then again so is the violin." She nodded sharing that little tidbit about herself, she highly doubted that many people knew that she infact played multiple instruments, Guitar, violin, cello, and even a little base(not that she played it well). She just loved being able to create music in so many ways, it just flowed through her fingers. After thinking, she came back to reality, and finished what she had been saying. "I guess I hung around when I wasn't practicing. You know, played poked with some of the guys, went shopping a bit, stuff like that. That reminds me, sometime we should explore the town, I haven't had a chance to go shopping with a girl in a long time since the tour started." It was true, plus, she needed to do something other than her regular routine soon or she was seriousl explode from boredom.
